Test Poll

OK, so just testing out the new Poll feature in blogger.

I picked up my Lamy 2000 for the first time in a week or so, and was once again impressed by just how good it feels "in the hand". The surface finish is great to the touch. So, do vote, I've tried to include suitable options for all opinions.

I do have the Lamy 2000 pencil and the rollerball. They both feel just right in my hands and look great.

The Faber Castell "TK Fine Executive" feels very good as well but has a smaller diameter.

In my first post I forgot to say what I definitely don't like about this pencil: There is too much play between the endcap and the body so that it rattles when you move the pencil. I think I'll fix this with a thin film of epoxy resin on the metal tube of the endcap.

The mechanism of the Lamy 2000 is made by Schmidt Technology (schmidttechnology.de) just like the rollerball and ballpoint refills. They also make the mechanisms and refills for Pelikan and Faber Castell (and many others).
