None for 0.3mm, one for 0.5mm, two for 0.7mm... I guess 3 for 0.9mm.
Obviously helps prevent mix-ups on the assembly line.

Identification Rings

My mind has been blown away.
I confirm the three rings on the 0.9mm pencil.
The 2mm pencil has no rings.

I add a little contribution: apparently the 1.3mm version has no rings, too.
