My mechanical pencil collection and various related things, thoughts and musings about them, reviews of mechanical pencils and other items, and more. I'm not prejudiced - all forms of pencils and graphite are welcome here, even some ink sneaks in too. You can use the sidebar links to find mechanical pencil reviews and other stuff.

I checked out the Uncomfortable chair link several times in teh past but I'm unable to read Japanese.
I hope he gets a comfortable chair down the road.
Howdy Time Waster. Well Google Translate and others do make a bit of a hash of Japanes to English, but along with the pictures I think you can get the gist of it if you are that way inclined.
I note Isu's other blog is UC2 so I figure thats the second uncomfortable chair, and he needs to go shopping yet again :-)
i have always been trying to modify a pentel sharp refill into a nice pen, andyone have ideas
a stilus secolgraf 151, eh... any idea what he did with the leftover barrel? i've been searching for that exact model with no success. i know it bears similarity to the koh-i-noor 5611c, but... i'm not terribly rational (my lead pointer is a plain steel file), which is probably why i still pine for the original 151.
is there one that has a lead case attached to the chamber? im doing it for a school project. this thing called the "invention convention".
Is pentel graph 600 a good drafting pencil without being modified? I haven't seen a review, but it looks very nice.
