Hi kiwi-d,
what is the model of the pen shown in last picture? It looks like some old Pentel?
Does this mean 4 Disney characters are now missing their right hands?
Did jgodsey get the left hands?
I'm reeling with shock here. Poor Mickey!
Hello Soundchaser - the pencil is my old Pentel SG65, gold with black stripes. Still going strong at 25+ years of age.
Bugs, good to hear from you, I've always been a fan. Luckily Mickey and the rest of the gang are safe. It appears moulds were taken to allow mass production and thus no amputations were carried out. Actually I have 7 hands, but only featured 4 above.
No cartoon characters were harmed in the production of this blog posting.
Dave, thanks for all your postings and happy 2009. You should get a Henry Petrosky award for your efforts on behalf of mechanical pencildom!
Hi Kiwi,
Thanks a lot for the information. I think the Pentel's are the best in Mech. Pencil business. I was collecting every piece of it. Lovely pens.
And Great Blog btw. I really like what you are doing here.
Greetings from Turkiye(Turkey),
Happy New Year Everyone. I wish all of you very Pencil Year. =)
Happy new year! Thank you for all your effort with your great reviews of so many mechanical pencils and accessories – keep up the excellent work.
Wicked erasers. I hope you don't use em. They are Art, IMO. :) hehehehehe
As always, the gold with black stripes looks great. I am glad I have one.
Soundchaser, did you want me to look for one for you?
