Thanks
You know, it is actually the thought that counts. Since I’ve been writing this blog, a number of people have very generously sent me pencils or other things just because they thought I might appreciate it. There’s nothing like the nice surprise of a totally unexpected gift, no matter how small - it is the thought that counts. So, to all those who have sent me something, thanks, I very much appreciate it.

Time Waster - depends - if it seems the sender would like it to be reviewed then yes I do, otherwise maybe. But I'm not fast - might be 6+ months before review.
ReplyDeleteGooner - well glad to hear your expanding your collection. I don't have any plans to say anything more about online retailers. I thought long and hard before I published the little review thing I did. I don't want to "commercialise" this blog in any significant way. There are so many retailers, so many difering opinions, etc, and there are online rating services for merchants, although not many of them subscribe. It's not really part of what I want to blog about, but people keep asking, so I said what very little I felt comfortable saying.
