Sanfords announcement of a new product, the Sharpie Liquid Pencil has generated a bit of interest around the traps and quite a few folk have kindly contacted me to alert me to it etc. I'm rather skeptical of the whole concept, but here's a link to a very thorough review by
Office Supply Geek.
I've tried the odd liquid lead pen before and they've always turned out to be ballpoints that use graphite powder as the pigment in the ink.
ReplyDeleteThis one seems to have used a different kind of carrier for the graphite to make it erasable but in the end the writing looks like a rather grey ballpoint pen - complete with those little blots that ballpoints are so good at.
I think I'll pass on this one.
Yeah I tried something similar it's just not the same as real pencil lead. I mean a 30-40 count of .5mm lead could last you years. This thing it based on a catridge same as Pentel's quick dock =)
ReplyDeleteI tired it it's really really bad =)
ReplyDeleteI just seen a ad in back of people magazine so I decided to pick it up it's like a ball point that skips and has no resistance unlike a killer mech pencil.
