The nibs are still loaded with leads, plus there are some spares in red/green/blue. The blog explains how to advance the lead, but not how to load a new one. I’m assuming one could just push it up into the empty space but wondering if it somehow it auto-loads from the Carolinahikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02849209487661234046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-43249103028973233612014-04-21T04:40:38.614+12:002014-04-21T04:40:38.614+12:00Hi Dave, i just found a beautiful 4 colors PATKANO...Hi Dave, i just found a beautiful 4 colors PATKANOES PEACE. The colours of the leads are red, blue and black and this one has a rubber eraser underneath the top cap that is creating a chamber to house the extra leads. I would love to post a photo for you if you wish.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-72995556615658757602010-05-13T10:08:42.471+12:002010-05-13T10:08:42.471+12:00Hi PointFour.

Well, by my standards anyway. I think these Kanoe's are my only vintage ones, and most others are modern plastic ones like Papermate, etc. Having said that, I think the difference in old to modern is primarily the change in selector mechanism - from these old slider styles to modern twist-select styles. Other than that the old ones Kiwi-dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04092604091185842213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-56271007737869062902010-05-12T00:35:55.549+12:002010-05-12T00:35:55.549+12:00Dave, there are many vintage multi-color pencils (...Dave, there are many vintage multi-color pencils (you probably own a few of them :-) ), e.g. http://www.roger-russell.com/normapg2.htm or from luxury sector like CdA or Montblanc...

Do you feel any difference between them in terms of robustness, usability or just overall feeling?2nd_astronauthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14997869998425051043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-35516585499129555262010-05-11T21:26:40.235+12:002010-05-11T21:26:40.235+12:00Wow, they are great!
