I bought 2 of them a handful of years ago, and one fell apart after only a few months. The other still works, but the finish is flaking off and the clip has loosened. I don't abuse pencils, but simply carrying these around is enough to ruin them.

It's a shame,Larsthegreatnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-44187323728477007612011-06-06T00:51:10.600+12:002011-06-06T00:51:10.600+12:00I love your photos - the backgrounds are hilarious...I love your photos - the backgrounds are hilarious!! Sticky retracting sleeve/tip aside, I somewhat like the bulk to the pencil. I don't feel like I have to press as hard or hold the pencil as firmly because it helps do the work for me. I don't mind the looks of the pencil, as long as I took off the "Made in China" sticker on the barrel :) The one thing I'mThirdeYehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08327965364500972786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-56318887660510997192010-10-07T17:38:25.058+13:002010-10-07T17:38:25.058+13:00The worst I have come accross is the Staedtler Mar...The worst I have come accross is the Staedtler Mars Micro 775 for difficult retractablity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-81933812068043827352010-10-07T17:22:39.363+13:002010-10-07T17:22:39.363+13:00Yea, I've had some really stuck retractable ti...Yea, I've had some really stuck retractable tips from time to time on one pencil or another.Kiwi-dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04092604091185842213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-47103032212886370142010-10-07T17:19:26.785+13:002010-10-07T17:19:26.785+13:00Okay, never mind on my stupidity with the retracta...Okay, never mind on my stupidity with the retractable tip! The only thing is, I can't get my tip to retract! Do you just hold down the top and push the tip up? The original Client (BK910) was all metal, including the part near the grip. Also, the grip was securely attached to this section. The newer model (BK910+7G) grip section is made of plastic and, after moderate use, it will become loose. The ink is smooth and consistant. I had to put amy name on the pen because everyone who uses it tries to "accidentally" not give it back. It is not an expensive pen, but as most pens are lost, this is a plus, not a negative. What sold me on them was the retractable barrel which will hopefully protect them from breakage. Most of the negatives that you mentions I don't think I mind. The only problem I think I might have with them is their weight. They're heavy!
