Also, I had some Gripmatic pencils a couple of years ago. They were decent to write with, but both of them snapped in my pencil case. They really need to invest in materials research.Jamesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-74999319799108511442007-12-09T07:31:00.000+13:002007-12-09T07:31:00.000+13:00Hi StevenCertainly there's a lot of difference bet...Hi Steven
Certainly there's a lot of difference betwen the darkness of one HB to another. I did think about price, but the problem is its so variable - there is like a 50% price variation from one retailer to another for the same lead. Where i come from F-C is not more expensive than Pentel. Good point about F-C and their thicker lead ranges of pencils.Kiwi-dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04092604091185842213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21675608.post-42673857260571439782007-12-08T22:25:00.000+13:002007-12-08T22:25:00.000+13:00Wow, Dave, after spending more time in your place,...Wow, Dave, after spending more time in your place, I'm getting even more amazed.
Well, personally, if there would be another lead tournament, I suggest that prices be taken into account.

By the way, here are some back-ups for the desponding Faber Castell:
1.MAYBE some manufacturers have made their leads too dark. You know, an HB lead should be HB; I'd buy 2B ones when I need Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
